Industry Group Clears The Way For Burning of DVDs At Retail Stores

COMMACK, N.Y., September 24, 2007 - TitleMatch Entertainment Group, a subsidiary of Protocall Technologies Incorporated (OTCBB:PCLI) and developer of the world's first CSS enabled DVD On-Demand™ service for retailers, today applauded the recent announcement by the DVD Copy Control Association (CCA), an industry copy prevention organization, to approve a final copy-protection specification for on-demand disc burning. The approval, which is effective immediately, clears the way for burning of DVD movies at retail stores.

Final ratification of the copy-protection specification, which is called Content Scramble System (CSS), was approved by DVD CCA members on September 19, 2007. TitleMatch has previously demonstrated its TitleMatch DVD On-Demand service with CSS, but required final approval of the CSS specification before major movie studios would release their movies for on-demand burning.

"Today's announcement is a major breakthrough for TitleMatch, the entire movie industry and consumers," commented Syd Dufton, President of TitleMatch Entertainment. "For over a year, we have anticipated final approval of CSS for our enterprise systems and store-based kiosks that are being prepared for an upcoming rollout . Being able to meet movie studio security requirements through the inclusion of CSS for DVD on-demand titles will significantly accelerate market momentum for our service."

CSS was devised to make copyright infringement difficult on commercially manufactured DVDs and its use in on-demand burning ensures compatibility between burned discs and set-top DVD players. Final approval of the CSS specification has long been the primary hurdle for burning of movies at retail stores despite broad industry support for the initiative.

TitleMatch first unveiled its CSS enabled service at the January Consumer Electronics Show and more recently at the ESCA technology conference in Hollywood, California. The new TitleMatch™ system leverages Sonic's Qflix™ technology for recording delivered entertainment to DVD with CSS encryption. In addition, the TitleMatch service uses Macrovision's RipGuard and Fortium's Patronus technologies to enable the secure custom manufacturing of premium movie and television titles onto recordable DVDs.

TitleMatch is working with movie studios and national retailers on a national deployment of its DVD On-Demand service.

The DVD Copy Control Association (DVD CCA) is a not-for-profit corporation with responsibility for licensing CSS (Content Scramble System) to manufactures of DVD hardware, discs and related products. Licensees include the owners and manufacturers of the content of DVD discs; creators of encryption engines, hardware and software decrypters; and manufactures of DVD Players and DVD-ROM drives. DVD CCA is overseen by a twelve-member board of directors drawn from three industries whose products use CSS: consumer electronics, information technology/computer and motion picture /content provider.
